Chiringuitos - Beach Bars & Restaurants
An essential and traditional Spanish experience are the numerous 'chiringuitos' (beach bars & restaurants) that open during the summer months. If you want to spend the day on the beach, chiringuitos offer sun loungers & parasols and often provide waiter service to the beach. Some also have play amenities for children. Generally, their menus are simply split into 'Fish Menu' and 'Meat Menu'. They serve simple, but fresh fish, seafood and meat dishes, at reasonable prices and they are an ideal place to soak up the relaxing atmosphere of the local beaches.
